Rovigo
Our new headquarters were built under the artistic direction of architect Marco Casamonti of Archea Associati, and entirely engineered by Mr. Lesko himself.
Developed entirely on a single floor, the building symbolizes the humility that defines our corporate philosophy. The same resin flooring, furniture, and restrooms are used across both the production and administrative areas, because dignity is equal for all. It is up to each person to demonstrate it and keep it alive.
Although primarily a production facility, the building is designed with full transparency: those who work here can look out toward the horizon at any moment. In such a space, cunning finds no ground to grow, for cunning thrives in darkness, where people are forced to lower their head. The shelving systems follow the same principle: at just 1.5 meters high, they preserve an open line of sight and a shared sense of clarity.
Structurally, the headquarters are built entirely of wood, with planar primary and secondary beams and cruciform pillars inspired by the Doric columns of the Valley of the Temples — a timeless symbol of beauty and proportion.
Technical Details
From a technical standpoint, here are the main features that define the construction:
-
Only three dominant colors: natural wood, RAL 7035 gray, and the green of the plants that surround and enrich the building’s interior;
-
9,000 m² of continuous flooring with no visible service boxes;
-
9,000 m² of single-piece aluminum roofing sheets, each spanning 85 linear meters;
-
Roof drainage integrated into internal gutters, allowing the natural sound of rain to be heard throughout the space;
-
Custom-made gutters, each produced in a single 7.6-meter section;
-
4,900 meters of suspended cable trays mounted to the ceiling with concealed custom brackets;
-
4,900 meters of continuous 12-meter light fixtures;
-
Production-line equipment (trolleys, line bins, workbench rails, gasket holders, and more) designed and built in-house;
-
Underfloor heating throughout both the offices and production areas;
-
An 850 m² internal garden planted in 2.8-meter-deep soil pits that connect directly to the ground below;
-
A custom HVAC and electrical system designed by Mr. Lesko himself, incorporating in-house components developed for production use;
-
308 spotlights arranged in groups of four to illuminate the 77 cruciform columns;
-
2,000 m² of Schüco structural glazing with 6-meter-high glass panels and 18 mm mullions — designed as slender blades that define the rhythm of the façade.
Every detail is rooted in the human spirit and reflects Lesko’s twelve guiding principles.
